Lucy Cheyney - founder
I am a Norfolk based chef, returning after many years away, gaining culinary experiences in France, London, Australia and Barcelona. Wild Lulita is my private catering company specialising in deliciously healthy menus and indulgent healthier cakes. I love to make clients happy with vibrant and inspired menus.
Always passionately dedicated to cooking beautiful and tasty food, that is naturally healthy. I try to use organic produce where possible and support local suppliers. My menus will change with the seasons, embracing the wonderful regional produce available to me in Norfolk.
Experience
Classically trained in Paris at Le Cordon Bleu, I started my cooking career in Michelin Starred restaurants in both France and London including L'Atelier Robuchon, before heading to Australia and working as a pastry chef. My passion for healthier food came soon after, striving to find a balance in a notoriously strenuous industry. I returned to London and took Head Chef roles for healthy companies; The Pure Package, Detox Kitchen and Deliciously Ella.
Four years ago I returned to Norfolk after spending 5 years in Barcelona, where I gained experience in many healthy and exciting establishments. I developed a passion for Mediterranean flavours and colours. Wild Lulita started as a boutique cake shop in Barcelona, before returning to the UK as a bespoke catering service.
My favourite events are relaxed Summer BBQs cooked over fire with a Mediterranean inspired menu, celebrating beautiful Norfolk ingredients.
All my menus are unique for each client, working with a wonderful local team who provide a friendly and professional service.
